Sometimes I miss the fact that Uni Wien doesn't have an actual campus. I'm getting used to the 30-minute commute from my dorm, so it's not so much an issue of convenience as it is an issue of community. There's plenty of green space around the University, but with so many students attending so many classes at different times, it's not as if you can just stroll through the courtyards and find someone you know to sit and study with, like I have many a time on warm spring / fall days in Harvard Yard.

With a courtyard like this, though, I'm ready to forgive almost anything:
